Dynamic CDN TTL management

A new model to update the CDN Time to Live (TTL) has been added, based on the age of the content. With an ever-increasing number of contents, the new SAAS-configurable management of the TTLs for served content is now adjustable based on a set of rules that take into account the following factors:

  • Type of content aggregation
  • Component of the content aggregation
  • Age of the newest item in the content aggregation

This enables Headless API consumers to intelligently and effectively instruct the caches. We can now generate a TTL for each piece of content, providing more efficient protection from the CDN's reverse proxy caching. Additionally, the new TTL settings provide detailed coverage for shared and browser cache.
